We process your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process:
- First and last name
- Address data
- Phone number (if provided, not necessary)
- E-mail address
- Information about your activities on our webshop
For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Sending our newsletter, if indicated that you want to receive it.
- To be able to e-mail you if this is necessary to be able to carry out our services.
- Inform you about changes to our services and products
- To deliver goods to you
We do not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example an employee of snugglezzz).
How long we keep personal data
We do not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following categories of personal data:
Name, address and telephone number
We keep this data in our administration for as long as we will perform our services as a webshop. We need this information to deliver your purchased items to the correct address and to contact you if necessary for the purchased order. After everything has been properly delivered, the above data will be stored in our archive and only used for administrative purposes.
E-mail address
We keep your e-mail address in our administration for as long as we will perform our services as a webshop. We need the e-mail address to send a confirmation of your order, your invoice and the confirmation of shipment including track & trace code. If we have questions during the shipping process, we prefer to contact us via the e-mail address. A confirmation will also be sent to the email address if items are returned.
When entering the e-mail address, you will be asked whether you want to receive our newsletter, if you have entered yes here, we will also use your e-mail address for our e-mail marketing. Don't want to receive a newsletter? Then the e-mail address will be stored in our archive after everything has been delivered correctly, but only used for administrative purposes.
Details of your activities on our webshop
We keep track of activities on our webshop, such as:
- Have you entered your details but not paid? We can see that, and will send you an email that there is still something in the shopping cart. After this email, your entered data will go into our archive and will only be used for administration purposes
- With an order made, we see how often you have looked at the webshop in the last few days and the number of orders you place. We think this is no more than a fun fact, and can take it into account for any gifts and written cards. This is stated on the invoice that has been made, which will go into our archive after delivery of the order for administration purposes.
Sharing personal data with third parties
snugglezzz only provides to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We will never sell your data!
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Snugglezzz and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you. You can submit a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@snugglezzz.nl. We ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. We would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. You can do that via the following link:

View, modify or delete data
We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
